Diana's Story
It's the 4th of July,2011 and I just realized that I havent updated my profile in years! So here's the latest...still married to Bob (coming up on 24 years) and our son has now graduated from college and is working for Apple in San Diego. I continued with my consulting company until 2005. I re-joined the corporate world with Gen-Probe, a molecular diagnostics company also in San Diego, where I am currently the Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Last year we bought a new house in Bonsall, CA, It is about 40 miles north of SD and almost an hour's commute to work, but it's a little slice of heaven and worth the drive. Both of my step-daughters are married to great guys and my granddaughters are now ...Expand for more
17 and 11 years old. All of them live within 20 minutes of us. My mom and dad and brother Jimmy are also close by, so we have lots of family get togethers. My brother John still lives in Portland Oregon and we just attended his son's wedding in April. We've had many more ups than downs in the past few years - and I can honestly say still, life is good!
Life
I've been living in the San Diego area since 1979 after stops in Minneapolis, St. Cloud, MN and Riverside, CA. Married with one son (14 years old), two step daughters and two granddaughters Have had my own human resources consulting company for 8 years. Mom and Dad and one brother live here in San Diego. With all of its ups and downs, life is good!
